to Dwight School
We're finalizing our partnership with Dwight School to bring the same Molchanovs-certified freediving training — private lessons, group lessons, and Wave 1 & Wave 2 certification — to Upper West Side, Manhattan. Booking opens soon.

What will be taught here
Every Freediving NYC location runs the same curriculum — the internationally recognized Molchanovs education system, the open-water Wave pathway:
- Molchanovs Wave 1 certification — the entry-level credential for new freedivers
- Molchanovs Wave 2 certification — the progression for certified divers
- Private lessons — one-on-one coaching built around your pace
- Group lessons — small, structured classes with shared energy
Taught by the same five Molchanovs-certified instructors who train at St. Bart's — the standard doesn't change with the pool.
Why we're expanding
New York is a big city, and one pool doesn't serve it. Our founding location at St. Bart's Church Pool in Midtown East serves the east side — this second location brings the same training closer to you.
