Try freediving free
Freediving is diving on a single breath — no tanks, no scuba gear. Join us for two free Saturday masterclasses at St. Bart's pool in Midtown Manhattan. Free, no experience needed — just basic comfort in the water.

Choose your level
Complete Beginner
Never held your breath underwater on purpose? This is for you. You'll learn the fundamentals: breathing, relaxation, and your first supervised breath-hold.
Advanced technique workshop
Some water comfort or prior breath-hold practice? You'll refine your technique and build a longer, calmer breath-hold.
"I can't…" — five fears, answered
"I can't hold my breath long."
That's exactly what the masterclass teaches. Most people are surprised by how much longer they can go once the panic reflex is trained out of the way.
"Is it dangerous?"
Safe within a structured framework: a supervised session with an instructor in the water beside you, trained in freediving rescue.
"My ears hurt."
That's normal pressure discomfort, not a sign you can't freedive. We'll teach you the equalization technique that fixes it.
"Do I need to be a strong swimmer?"
No. You need water comfort, not athletic ability. If you can swim, you can freedive.
"Can I really train indoors?"
Yes — the entire masterclass runs in an indoor pool, year-round, rain or shine.
